Objective

 Prevent the use of expired certificates from being used in your system.

Guidelines

• Automatically check the certificatescertificate's validity period during(start theand validationend process.dates) every time you validate it.
• EnsureNever thataccept an expired certificates are not accepted by the systemcertificate for any operation.
• TheShow the user should get a proper communicationclear message in casewhen they try to use an expired certificate — for example: "This certificate has expired. Please renew it before signing."
