Scope and Objectives

This document provides mandatory policies and guidelines for Government of Rwanda websites at both Central Government and institutions, local government and embassies with the aim of making government websites user-centric, high quality, accessible and secure. Conformity with these guidelines will ensure a high degree of consistency and uniformity in the content coverage, presentation security and accessibility and promote excellence in implementation of government websites. KeyThe objectives of these guidelines include:are to provide a clear, unified framework that supports all Government of Rwanda institutions in the development, management, and maintenance of their official websites and digital portals. Specifically, the guidelines aim to:
